KIPP Delta College Preparatory
KIPP Delta College Preparatory School (DCPS) was founded in 2002 and is the inaugural school of the KIPP Delta Public School District. DCPS serves over 310 students in grades 5–8. At each grade level students learn specific values, like open-mindedness, integrity, responsibility, and teamwork that help them climb the mountain to college. Teachers focus on building a strong foundation in math, reading, and science for every student, but our school provides students much more than a classroom education.
Our goal is that all of our students will be able to attend the college or university of their choice and find success not only in college, but also beyond.
Commitment to Excellence
KIPP is a partnership between parents, students, and teachers that puts learning first. All three parties sign a learning pledge called the “Commitment to Excellence,” which ensures that each will do whatever it takes to help the student learn.
