KIPP Delta Public Schools to Host Annual Public Meeting

KIPP Delta Public Schools will host their Annual Public Meeting on Tuesday, December 4th at 6:00 pm. The event will take place at the KIPP Blytheville campus located on 1200 Byrum Road in Blytheville, Arkansas.  The agenda of items to be discussed will include the following:

  • Progress toward goals
  • Accreditations status
  • Proposals to correct deficiencies

The event will open with a performance by the school’s choir.  Mr. Scott Shirey, KIPP Delta’s Executive Director, will present and field questions from parents and members of the public at the close of the meeting.  The public is welcome to attend this event.

KIPP has grown from two original schools founded by Teach For America alumni Mike Feinberg and Dave Levin to a national network of 109 free, open enrollment, college‐preparatory public charter schools. Over 95 percent of students enrolled in KIPP schools are African American or Hispanic/Latino, and more than 80 percent qualify for the federal free and reduced‐price meals
