KIPP Delta College Preparatory

Clubs & Activities

KIPP Delta College Preparatory School (DCPS) offers activities for students who maintain at least a 2.0 GPA and are otherwise in good standing. Through the arts, extracurricular activities such as drum line and canoeing, and trips to both in & out-of-state destinations, our students are exposed to a breadth of opportunities that will spark their imaginations and help them dream bigger dreams.

Enrichment Activities

Students at DCPS have the opportunity to participate in enrichment activities such as:

  • Drumline
  • Boy Scouts
  • Majorettes
  • Choir

DCPS fields both competitive and intra-school club teams within our athletic program. Current sports include:

  • Basketball
  • Volleyball
  • Baseball

Field Lessons

Learning at DCPS expands beyond the walls of the classroom. Students earn the right to participate in several local and out-of-state field lessons every month by working hard and exemplifying the values of the school. Students visit college campuses, historic sites, museums, state and national parks, and other settings that may enrich their education.

All of the monthly field lessons help prepare the students for a year- end, weeklong trip, which they must earn through hard work and exemplary behavior.
