Class of 2017 Earns High School Acceptances

KIPP Delta College Preparatory School is proud to announce that three students from the Class of 2017 have been accepted to prestigious, private high schools. Alex Lofton has been accepted to Army and Navy Academy in Carlsbad, California with a scholarship offer of $30,000 per year. Kennedy Simes has earned acceptance to St. Andrew’s-Sewanee School in Sewanee, Tennessee with a $10,000 Claiborne Scholarship, as well as an acceptance to Indian Springs School in Pelham, Alabama. Erin Pruitt has been accepted to St. Andrew's-Sewanee School and is awaiting decisions from two other prestigious boarding schools. KIPP Delta Public Schools explore boarding schools as an option for students who have an interest in pushing themselves personally and academically, and who are brave enough to spend their high schools years away from home. Former KIPP Delta student Jukurious Davis (Class of 2014) set the precedent by becoming a Jack Kent Cooke scholar and leaving home to attend the prestigious St. Paul’s School in Concord, New Hampshire.
