KIPP Delta Alum to Page for Senator Pryor

Jukurious Davis, a former KIPP Delta College Preparatory School student and current Jack Kent Cooke Young Scholar at St. Paul’s School in New Hampshire, has been selected to be a Congressional Page for Senator Mark Pryor. The U.S. Senate Page Program appoints high school juniors who excel academically and demonstrate strong leadership skills to page for Senators throughout the year.

Jukurious will travel to Washington, D.C. for the June session and reside there as Senator Pryor’s Page from June 10-29, 2013. Senate page duties consist primarily of delivery of correspondence and legislative material within the Congressional complex. Other duties include preparing the chamber for Senate sessions, and carrying bills and amendments to the desk. Jukurious will be exposed to the inner workings of our nation’s federal government and tour many of the national monuments and museums.
