SPLASH ZONE 🥧 Our KIPP Delta ELA students had the absolute best time celebrating Pi Day by—you guessed it—pie-ing our amazing staff members! From the nervous laughs to the whipped cream beards, last Friday was all about joy, community, and maybe a little bit of "revenge"! 😉

A huge shoutout to our brave staff for being such good sports. We’re not sure who had more fun: the kids or the teachers!

They say a picture is worth a thousand words, but this one is just worth one: SPLAT! 💥 Ms. Jackson take a pie to the FACE!!!!
😮 The face you make when you realize you’re next! Ms. Calhoun is watching in absolute awe (and maybe a little relief?) as Ms. Hubbard takes one for the team!
🥧✨ Smile now, pie later! Ms. Risper was looking way too calm and collected before the whipped cream started flying. Little did she know what the KIPP Delta scholars had in store for her!
⚠️ SPOILER ALERT: It didn’t end well for Mrs. Barton! 🥧 That moment you realize the pie is officially en route! Our students were more than happy to give Mrs. Barton a "heads up" as the whipped cream brigade approached.
Ms. Walker: "Hold my clipboard, I’ve got this." 🥧💅 She just couldn't resist! Ms. Jackson was already a target, but Ms. Walker made sure the job was done right. Such a fun moment at KIPP Delta Elementary!
Someone told this student Ms. Lee has a "big heart," so he decided to give it a big pie! 🥧😂
🥧 HOW IT’S GOING... 🥧 Remember that calm, smiling Ms. Risper from earlier?

We had an incredible time celebrating Dr. Seuss & Read Across America Week at KIPP Delta Elementary Literacy Academy.

Dr. Seuss Week was a massive success at KIPP Delta, and we owe a giant "THANK YOU" to our community guests. From the Helena Fire Department to the high-energy PCCUA Hype Dance Squad, you all made this week unforgettable for our kids and staff. We’re already planning to make next year’s event even bigger and better! 🌟

KIPP Delta ELA is sending a huge "Thank You" to Chief Green for Resource Officer Appreciation Day! 👮‍♂️ Chief Green is so much more than a Resource Officer; she’s a mentor, a protector, and a vital part of our school family. We are incredibly lucky to have his leadership and heart in our halls.

Join us in the comments by showing Chief Green some love! 👇💙

KIPP Delta ELA's Resource Officer: Chief Green

Our KIPP Delta ELA students took their learning on the road today with a trip to the local library! 🚌✨

It was an action-packed visit where our scholars:
💳 Officially became card-carrying members of the library!
🔍 Explored the different sections—from the quiet stacks to the reference desks.
📖 Learned how to navigate the world of books to find exactly what they need for their next big project (or just their next favorite read).

We believe that a library card is the ultimate "passport" to new worlds, and we’re so proud of our students for taking this step toward lifelong learning. A huge thank you to the library staff for hosting us and helping our students unlock so much knowledge!

Dear Families,

We realize the school year is flying by, and the finish line is in sight! However, we are currently auditing our records and noticed we are missing a Media Release Consent Form for your student.

Even as we head into the final months of the 2025/2026 school year, having this form on file is essential. It ensures we can include your child in upcoming year-end celebrations, highlight reels, and graduation or promotion ceremony materials.

Please take 60 seconds to complete the form today:

👉 2025/2026 Student Media Release Form

Why complete this now?
Year-End Memories: We want to make sure every student who wishes to be included can appear in our final school-wide galleries and videos.

Summer Prep: This form covers us through the remainder of the academic cycle, including summer programs.

Compliance: It helps our office ensure that we respect every family's privacy wishes during our busiest event season.

Thank you for helping us cross this off our "to-do" list as we celebrate a fantastic year!
